Cinderella remains the most popular pantomime and the one that gets more people through the box office year after year.

My adaptation remains true to the traditional story with the regular characters all in there. Like cheeky Buttons who is in love with Cinders, and the nasty yet ridiculous Ugly Sisters ready for the audience to boo.

As always there is lots of interaction with the audience written into the script, and a kitchen slapstick scene with flour and eggs on stage and scaring the kids by threatening to throw the ingredients over them.

Don't forget the transformation scene, and the "It's behind you" ghost. Then, does the magic slipper fit the Ugly Sisters? What do you think?

The audience are invited to cheer, clap, hiss and boo at the earliest point to get them involved and to break down the barrier of the 4th wall.

Approximately 1 hour 45 mins of stage time. (Not including the interval)

Of all of the main pantomimes Aladdin is the most spectacular. Costumes and sets can be flamboyant and dazzle your audience.

Set mainly in China and a little side step to Egypt. It has the archetypical villain of Abanazar, the Chinese policemen and naturally the legendry Widow Twankey. Wishee Washee connects the audience with the actors and the pantomime goes out into the auditorium and reels them in. He is also the leader of "Wishee's Gang" to get the audience joining in whenever possible. Oh yes they will.

Widow Twankey's laundry is the location for the slapstick scene, which includes the trick mangle and lots of outrageous underwear.

Let's not forget the magic cave, the ghosts and the skeleton dance. Plus the transformation of the dark cave to a place full of gold and jewels.

We have the magical side, the Spirit of the Ring and the Genie of the Lamp, to create appearances and disappearances. Not to forget the flying carpet. Oh, and the very funny sand dance, plus the slapstick Scout gag.

Approximately 1 hour 45 mins of stage time. (Not including the interval)

Dick Whittington and his cat is one of the best know and loved pantos on the professional stage.

King Rat is the best ever villain in all of panto land. Together with his attendant little rats. This gives a chance for many younger members of the company to have a stage roll for the first time. Fill the stage with rats of all shapes and sizes.

Rizi the Rat is a young trainee, working with King Rat. Trying to be evil, but never quite get's it right. (There to reel in the kids).

Sara the Cook is the Dame with Alice Fitzwarren as Dick's love interest.

Dick and his cat go from London's Fitzwarren store, via the Saucy Sal ship, across the ocean to the exotic shores of Morocco, causing mayhem as they go.

As always in my pantomimes the audience is invited to join in as much as possible. There are specific characters who invite them to do this yet still keep the story running forward. A couple of standard gags form part of the storyline together with a bit of slapstick.

Will Dick become Lord Mayor of London and marry the lovely Alice? What do you think?

Approximately 1 hour 45 mins of stage time. (Not including the interval)

Tomorrow is Snow White's 18th birthday, which will officially make her an adult and ranked among the "Fairest in the Land".

Her evil stepmother the Queen, who currently holds that position, is informed of the change by her magic mirror, which leads to the Queen giving instructions to kill Snow White.

Muddles the jester and Whoopie the French cook get in the way as Snow White is lost in the forest with the Huntsman about to kill her.

A very inventive professor constructs a few experiments and makes some interesting gadgets along the way.

The Seven Dwarfs do their bit by harboring Snow White in their cottage but she is found and.... Mirror Mirror...! Oh no!

Come on... You know the rest of the story. Or do you?

Lots of silliness and mayhem. Does the Prince kiss Snow White? What happens when an extra dwarf turns up? Who knows?

Dame Trott runs a dairy, with Daisy the magical cow providing the milk. All is well until the Giant Blunderbore and his evil henchman get to work.

The Giant is bleeding everyone dry with the help of the sinister Fleshcreep. Ahh haa ha ha!

Dame Trott's son Jack is sent off to sell the cow to get some extra money, but sadly he is not too bright and returns with a bag of useless beans. Will planting these beans help with their fortune?

Under the guidance of the Fairy, the beans grow into a mighty beanstalk that stretches up to the sky. Obviously, Jack is going to climb the plant, isn't he? Then find himself at the Giant's castle. Can he kill the giant? Can he stop all the children being made into pies? Will a cheeky fieldmouse stop making a nuisance of himself?

The comedy is right up to date with Vandertop and Waterbottom feeding social media with the latest gossip. Daisy is a talking cow, of yes she is, and not too happy when being sold.

Approximately 1 hour 45 mins of stage time. (Not including the interval.)

Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves is a pantomime that is often overlooked. Yet it is an unusual tale where the principle girl becomes the hero.

A brave and beautiful slave girl saves Ali Baba and his family.

A tale from the Arabian Nights set in old Cairo. A nasty villain with his band of thieves. A poor family who will become rich because the Spirit of the Desert weaves her spell. A magic cave with a secret password. There are huge clay pots full of thieves and a scary Egyptian mummy. Oh help! It's behind you.

And, oh yes, I nearly forgot the dancing camel.

Again the pantomime goes into the audience and ropes them in. The actors talk directly to the audience and get them to respond in the best panto tradition. There are a couple of standard gags and an egg cracking slapstick scene during the song sheet.

All the bloodthirsty bits from the original story have been removed so this is a very moral tale for the kids. Yet it still retains all the elements of a great story with lots of fun. This is also the ideal panto for new members of a cast as they can be part of the Forty Thieves, who incidentally, can actually be far less than forty.

Approximately 1 hour 45 mins of stage time. (Not including the interval)

This is the original version of the Sleeping Beauty story, before Disney changed it. A great pantomime if you have lots of ladies in your company as there are many parts for female actors. There are eight fairies (as per the original Charles Perrault / Brothers Grimm story). Seven good fairies and one bad.

The King and Queen invite the fairy community to become godparents to their new child. Seven fairies give wonderful gifts to the baby, but one nasty fairy casts a bad spell. Princess Rose will DIE before her eighteenth birthday when she pricks her finger on a spinning wheel.

Although all spinning wheels are banned from the Kingdom the bad fairy finds a way of enticing Rose into the spell. The Princess Rose and all the people of the palace are sent to sleep for 100 years. The spell can only be undone if the Princess is kissed by her true love. But a magical thorny rose hedge has grown around the palace and Prince Perceval has to fight his way through the thorns to find his bride.

We time travel 118 years during this pantomime, with the help of Wigarna the mystic guide. Lots of knockabout slapstick. A dancing hedge and a time traveling deck chair.

An easy pantomime to stage as there are no huge scenery sets. Most of the action revolves around the interior of the Royal Palace.

Approximately 1 hour 45 mins of stage time. (Not including the interval)

Puss In Boots. A fantasy tale of a cat that speaks and shows his master the way to riches. He also helps his master marry a Princess. Ha! Oh yes he does.

All the usual elements for a good old traditional pantomime are wrapped up in this script.

The Dame has three sons who all go off to make their fortune. Two of them do reasonable well but the third makes real progress as he has the advantage of being the owner of a magic cat.

There is a rather "interesting" fairy, a nasty villain and a female Ogre. Puss defeats the evil with the help of a the fairy's magic.

The comedy duo run a shoe shop where Puss gets his boots, and naturally there is a Royal family to impress and a Princess to marry.

As always with my pantomimes there is lots of audience participation to keep them with you all the way. Plus the scenes are staged so that there are no breaks and no dead stage time. There are two small transformation scenes for you to have fun with and impress your audiences, but both are done in an easy way for the small local stage.

Approximately 1 hour 45 mins of stage time. (Not including the interval)

Mother Goose script

A huge goose that lays magical golden eggs. A very moral story yet with fun and games all the way.

Mother Goose herself is broke and her farm is in debt. The Squire sends in the bailiffs to remove her property.

Mother Goose owns Goose Farm where she manages to create (via cloning in a test tube) a very large and affectionate goose. Then a bet between the immortals of the Fairy and the Demon King result in this amazing goose being able to lay solid gold eggs.

As part of the bet the magical goose is swapped for "Youth and Beauty" and the Demon King seems to have won the day. But has he? Surely good and love will win through.

This pantomime includes the most evil of all villains The Demon King. Plus an upper-class fox who is continually chasing the stock of Goose Farm. What could be more panto than that?

Unusually the Dame takes the lead in this pantomime as the story revolves around her. Also the goose is not just a 'skin' part and is actually allowed to speak.

Approximately 1 hour 45 min's of stage time. (Not including the interval)

Pirates. Robinson Crusoe. A treasure map. A dame. Plus a group of anarchic elderly people from a cruise ship that have arrived at Skull Island. The recipe for pantomime mayhem.

Robinson Crusoe finds a treasure map and decided to make his fortune so he can marry his true love Polly Perkins. He accidentally becomes part of a pirate crew, who also want to find the treasure. They get shipwrecked and go to the bottom of the sea where they meet King Neptune. Robinson survives and washes up on Skull Island. On the Island he meets Miss Friday, a Cruise liner rep, in charge of a group of older holidaymakers who are very rowdy and often drunk.

The map gets passed around (or was it stolen) and everyone is now looking for the treasure. Who will find it first? And what special treasure is in the trunk when they eventually find it?

This is a silly romp with pirate fights, some easy slapstick, and a parrot who thinks he is the best actor in the world. Oh yes he is lovies.

Lots of audience participation as they join the pirate gang and learn to shout "Arrrrrrrrr" in pirate fashion.

Approximately 1 hour 45 mins of stage time. (Not including the interval)

A beautful girl. A strange beast. Two dames. And a talking book. Then add a few magical beings to populate the enchanted castle. Now you have full traditional panto.

The story is taken from the original book written by Gabrielle De Villeneuve in 1740, and then rearranged into a classic pantomime with all the things you would expect.

Papa picks a rose, which enrages a Beast. They make a deal that Belle (the beautiful daughter) will stay in the Beast's magical castle forever. She can only be released if she falls in love with the Beast.

This is a proper pantomime written around the original book of The Wonderful Wizard Of Oz.

Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man and the Cowardly Lion set off on a journey to find the Emerald City and the Wizard of Oz.

They are joined by the Dame (Aunt Em) and cross paths with a typical Pantomime Prince who just wants to kiss a Princess.

The Wicked Witch of the West is the baddie and invites you to boo and hiss.

Naturally there is a comedy duo mixed in and a few other odd people. What else would you expect when you are travelling the Yellow Brick Road during a full British pantomime?

Lots of audience participation in this fun show and an 'interesting' meeting with the Wizard of Oz.

Approximately 1 hour 45 min's of stage time. (Not including the interval)

A proper pantomime written around the original book of A Christmas Carol by Charles Dickens.

Charles Dickens meets pantomime. The story that everyone associates with a traditional Christmas.

Scrooge is his usual miserable self. But the ghosts that haunt him may not be what you expect. Tiny Tim's mother, Emily Cratchit runs amuck and travels back in time to meet Old Fezziwig and other Dickens regulars.

As always, Scrooge learns a few lessons along the way and ends up dancing and singing with the whole cast.

Your audience will already know that story, but will be surprised as the pantomime twists it in a new and more modern direction. With lots of laughs and plenty of audience participation.

Approximately 1 hour 45 min's of stage time. (Not including the interval)
