Cinderella is the crown jewel of pantomime. The show that fills theatres year after year.

This adaptation stays true to tradition, with Buttons pining for Cinders and the gloriously grotesque Ugly Sisters ready for boos.

Packed with audience participation, the script includes a riotous kitchen slapstick routine, the “It’s behind you!” ghost, and the magical transformation scene.

Aladdin is pantomime at its most spectacular. A feast of dazzling costumes, flamboyant sets, and magical surprises.

Starting in China folowed by a playful detour to Egypt, the story features Abanazar, bumbling policemen, and the legendary Widow Twankey.

Wishee Washee rallies “Wishee’s Gang” for audience fun, while slapstick erupts in the laundry with the trick mangle and outrageous underwear.

Add the enchanted cave, skeleton dance, flying carpet, and Genie magic, and directors have a show bursting with spectacle and comedy.

Dick Whittington and his cat is a classic pantomime packed with comedy, adventure, and audience fun.

King Rat reigns as one of pantoland’s greatest villains, backed by his swarm of mischievous rats, perfect for younger cast members. Rizi the Rat adds laughs as he fails at being evil, while Sara the Cook and Alice Fitzwarren drive the story.

From London’s Fitzwarren store to Morocco via the Saucy Sal ship, Dick’s journey is full of slapstick and mayhem.

Audience participation is woven throughout, with classic gags and comic routines keeping the laughter flowing.

Snow White is a timeless favourite, blending fairy-tale magic with pantomime comedy and audience fun.

On her 18th birthday, the evil Queen curses Snow White, sending her into danger with the Huntsman. The Seven Dwarfs shelter Snow White, but suspense builds with “Mirror, Mirror…!”

Comic chaos comes from Muddles the jester, Whoopie the French cook, and an eccentric Professor with gadgets.

Packed with slapstick and surprises, the script keeps audiences guessing. Will the Prince’s kiss save her, and what happens when an extra dwarf appears?

Jack and the Beanstalk delivers pantomime on a grand scale. Towering spectacle, riotous comedy, and audience fun.

Dame Trott runs her dairy with Daisy the talking cow until Giant Blunderbore and Fleshcreep bleed the town dry. Jack’s bag of beans grows into a mighty beanstalk, leading to the Giant’s castle and a battle to save the children.

Comedy comes from Vandertop and Waterbottom spreading “social media gossip,” while Daisy complains loudly about being sold.

Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves is a rarely staged pantomime, offering directors something fresh and distinctive.

Set in old Cairo, a brave slave girl saves Ali Baba and his family from the villain and his band of thieves. The Spirit of the Desert weaves her spell, while clay pots hide thieves, a mummy lurks, and yes, a dancing camel appears.

Audience participation is built in, with gags, slapstick, and egg-cracking routines.

Family-friendly and flexible, the Forty Thieves provide ensemble opportunities without needing a cast of forty.

Sleeping Beauty offers directors a classic fairy-tale pantomime with a wealth of female roles and inventive comedy.

Returning to the original Perrault/Grimm story, seven fairies bless the child, until the wicked one casts her curse. Princess Rose pricks her finger, sending the palace into a century-long sleep. Prince Perceval must fight through a thorny hedge to reach her.

Comic invention comes from Wigarna the mystic guide, slapstick routines, a dancing hedge, and a time-travelling deck chair.

Easy to stage with minimal scenery, this is a practical yet magical choice.

Puss in Boots is a classic fantasy pantomime, full of tradition, comedy, and magical surprises.

The Dame’s three sons set out to make their fortunes, but only one succeeds, thanks to his clever, talking cat. Along the way, an eccentric fairy, a nasty villain, and a female Ogre provide drama and laughs.

Comedy comes from a shoe-shop duo, while the Royal family and Princess add spectacle.

Audience participation is built in, with seamless staging and two easy transformation scenes designed for local stages.

Mother Goose  script

Mother Goose is a pantomime full of heart, comedy, and spectacle, with the Dame at its centre.

Broke and in debt, Mother Goose faces losing her farm until a wager between the Fairy and the Demon King gives her goose the power to lay golden eggs. Tempted by “Youth and Beauty,” she risks everything, but will good triumph?

Featuring pantoland’s darkest villain, a mischievous fox, and a speaking goose, this show is both moral and magical.

Directors gain a showcase role for the Dame and a production full of originality.

Robinson Crusoe is a rollicking pantomime adventure, packed with pirates, slapstick, and riotous audience fun.

Robinson discovers a treasure map, joins a pirate crew, and is shipwrecked beneath the waves to meet King Neptune. Surviving, he washes up on Skull Island, where Miss Friday wrangles a group of anarchic cruise-ship holidaymakers.

The treasure map sparks mayhem, with pirate fights, slapstick routines, and a parrot convinced he’s the greatest actor in pantoland.

Audience participation is guaranteed, as spectators join the pirate gang and learn to shout “Arrrrrrr!”

The Wonderful Wizard of Oz is a full-scale pantomime built around the original book, familiar, magical, and packed with comedy.

Dorothy, the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion journey to the Emerald City, joined by Aunt Em as the Dame and a Pantomime Prince. The Wicked Witch of the West invites boos and hisses, while a comedy duo and eccentric characters add mischief.

Audience participation is woven throughout, with a comic twist when they finally meet the Wizard.

Robin Hood is a fresh, modern take on the classic tale. Full of comedy, chaos, and audience fun.

Robin and his merry men battle the Sheriff of Nottingham, while Lady Marion isn’t entirely smitten, making the romance deliciously awkward. Friar Tuck struggles with his formidable mother, the Dame and “Camp Cook”, and two outlaws threaten to unleash a “Pink Pong Bomb.”

Will Robin triumph in the archery contest and win Marion’s hand? Oh no he won’t… oh yes he might!
